Who knew chickpeas, feta, and hard-boiled eggs could make me feel like I was dining on the Mediterranean coast--without leaving town? The bowl was fire, the service was flawless, and the staff made me feel like a VIP (Very Impressed Patron). Big thanks to the team for turning lunchtime into a mini vacation. I'll be back for another flavor-packed getaway soon!
Friendly and helpful. You can try the soup. Lots of flavor. To many choices that I ordered dinner Togo as I ate my lunch. Ordered the veggi sandwich. Very good. And flavors go well together.
Wow, just wow. Very delicious and the chocolate covered strawberry at the end....forget about it (wiseguy comment-it's criminally good) Great staff, clean, great atmosphere
Today was the perfect day to warm up with hot soup. My husband and I both ordered large bowls of the lobster bisque. It was a bisque but I would call it a red pepper bisque. Large crunchy chunks of red pepper and we think onion.absolutely no lobster - not even lobster flavor. Very disappointing and false advertising. It wasn't cheap either. For 2 large bowls of soup with no taste at nine dollars a pop and 2 small fountain drinks at almost 3 bucks a pop, tax tip it was $25. Way too much for a disappointing meal.
Somehow I've never been in here; too many other options nearby, I guess. Today, with no service after seating at my first option, I came here to get something quick for lunch. There was a line but it moved along. Service was great from several people behind the counter. I went with a pick two, the curry soup and a bbq brisket sandwich. Both servings were bigger than I expected. Plus there was a roll and a chocolate-covered strawberry. The soup was great: lots of meat and veggies, good curry flavor with a hint of heat. The sandwich was on good bread, tender flavorful meat, pickles and other toppings worked in but it held together well and tasted great. The roll and strawberry could have been generic but were pretty darn good too. Fountain drinks, teas I think too, plus flavored syrups. Quick, good, reasonably priced. And there's other stuff on the menu to bring me back.
I first discovered Café Zupas when my job catered it for lunch. I was really surprised by how great my sandwich tasted, so I made a mental note of this restaurant. We Door Dashed for dinner tonight and the quality was just as high as the first time! I ordered the Power Bowl while my boyfriend ordered the Chicken Pesto sandwich. Before I could even take a bite of my food, my boyfriend kept saying, "Mhmm! This is good!!" So, he was very happy. Lol. I loved my bowl for a couple of reasons. 1) It actually had a variety of greens instead of just iceberg lettuce. 2) A healthy amount of protein was given from the hard boiled egg, pork, AND chicken. Most places give a measly amount of chicken and call it a day. This was definitely the largest amount of meat in a bowl that I've received. I also liked that plenty of veggies were included. Basically, the bowl was delicious and I would absolutely order it again. I may need to make this an Easton staple!
it's a chain, and i get that, but oh my, it made me love soup again. i'm really picky about breads/salads, but almost all of their foods cater to my lil picky eater preferences. kinda bomb. goes hard. my partner and i be there every other week for takeout or dine in, both lovely. let's go, let's go.
Great soup. Deep rich flavors with nice lasting after taste. When I walked in I just asked each staff person what is your favorite soup. Surprisedly, they all agreed on a favorite. It was two soups and one staff told me I can mix the two. I said really... Let's do it. Then they said I get a free chocolate covered strawberry however they were out and they would give me a chocolate covered Oreo. Winner winner chicken dinner in my book. I will only tell you one soup if the mix and it was lobster bisque. The other you will have to go and find out for yourself. I arrived late and was afraid that I wouldn't get good service and they would tell me they are closing in 30 minutes. Well they didn't . They allowed me to enjoy the food and the service. Loved it. I'm only taking a star away because of not having the strawberry. Lol. Yes it's a place I would bring a friend who enjoys soup. I will return to explore more of the menu.
Cafe Zupas is my favorite soup and salad shop. I regularly visit the Easton location on my work days. My latest visit was to grab dinner after getting drinks at a nearby bar. There was no line when I entered and I was greeted by the worker. I ordered the mangoberry salad for myself. This is my usual order. I also ordered a brisket sandwich for my dad. The salad was delicious, as usual. The lettuce and fruit toppings were fresh. The salad dressing is my favorite. It is very sweet and pairs well with the ingredients. My salad included a dinner roll and chocolate covered strawberry. Both items were delicious. Prices are moderate and in line with similar style restaurants.
I've been coming here often since it opened a few years ago and when my sister came in to town for the long weekend I knew I had to take her there for lunch. They have a pick two combo where you get a soup, full Sandwich, or salad (it's a great deal!) and I went with the Honey Bacon Club sandwich and the BBQ Chicken Salad, it also comes with a bread roll and a chocolate covered strawberry. The portions of the combo are pretty good as well, compared to their competitors in my opinion especially their salad sizes! The BBQ chicken was good, the veggies were fresh which was great. The sandwich was really good as well, but a little too sweet. Next time I go I'm going to change up on my sandwich. I'd recommend checking this place if you are looking for a great lunch or dinner spot!
